Oversee daily team operations with kindness, clarity, and presence

Ensure all team members are following the standards set in our employee handbook

Support onboarding of new hires and guide them through handbook orientation and training checklists

Maintain development plans and ensure regular check-ins with apprentices and stylists

Work closely with ownership to uphold a professional, inclusive, and values-aligned salon culture

Manage documentation related to staff goals, certifications, and policy compliance

Help identify and address areas for improvement, whether it’s coaching around timeliness, technique, or communication

Participate in staff meetings and support conflict resolution when needed with empathy and accountability

Grounded and organized, with a nurturing but clear communication style

Familiar with salon or beauty service environments (bonus if you’ve led a team before!)

Comfortable giving feedback and helping others grow, even when it’s tough

Attuned to the needs of diverse communities—especially our curly, low-sensory, and hijabi clients

Approx. 10–15 hours/week (flexible)

Includes 1–2 Saturdays/month on-site for team check-ins
